What options do I have to programme HCS08 chips with the USB-ML-12E

  • Hi our factory has managed to populate ~200 boards with blank HCS08 chips

From the development period I have a couple of USB-ML-12E that I used to debug and programme the chips with.

Now unfortunately none of the original drivers or SW work with Win7. New drivers list the USB-ML device but the SW will not list the device.

So what are my options to getting these chips programmed, I only want to programme them not debug.

Is there a version of SW that will work with the USB-ML that I have on Win7?

Am I going to have to replace everything?

    • Hi Andrew,

If you recently updated your PC and the OS, then it sounds like you just need to update your software to a Win7 compatible version of PROGHCS08. You'll need You can purchase a new seat and then download it here :
