Multilink Compatibility with Cortex Debug connector
Douglas P. Jul 21, 2016 at 03:18 PM (15:18 hours)
Staff: Johnny N.

  • The ARM defined Cortex Debug Connector is a 10 pin connector with the following pin assignments:
    1) Vcc
    2) SWDIO/TMS
    3) GND
    5) GND
    6) SWO/TDO
    7) Key (pin removed)
    8) NC/TDI
    9) GNDDetect
    10) nReset

Is Port G compatible? Specifically, how is GNDDetect driven/used by the Multilink Universal?

    • Greetings Doug,

Please refer to our technical summary document for the USB-ML-UNIVERSAL

You will notice that the pinout for our Port G is very close to your pin out. The only difference is Pin 7 and Pin 9 which are pins that the Multilink does not interact with.

The Multilink will be compatible with your target.

  • Thanks Johnny.
