Programming Socket Adapter - Where to Buy

  • Where can I find socket adapters for use with the Cyclone products - specifically NXP DSC56F84452VLH for use with a Cyclone Max.

  • Hi Douglas,

Is there a specific socket adapter you need? The Cyclone comes with the ribbon cables to attach to the Cyclone but we don't provide adapters specific to board designs.

  • Looking for a 64 pin socket for the NXP DSC56F84452VLH that connects to the 14 pin cable coming from the Cyclone Max. This would be for programming the individual chips when they are not mounted to our PCB assembly.

  • I would look into distributors like Digikey and Mouser and see if they have sockets that for your specific chip. Unfortunately P&E Micro does not sell chip sockets.
