Stand-Alone Programming of SPC58NE84

  • Hello,

    I am trying to program the SPC58NE84 using an image file stored on the Cyclone Max and am getting error $00000007. Here is the sequence that I am using:
    1. Choose algorithm: ST_SPC58NE84_1x32x5236k.CFlash.pcp
    2. Specify object code
    3. Erase if not blank
    4. Program module
    5. Verify checksum

    Debug shift speed is set to 3.85MHz.

    I am able to program using the PROGPPCNEXUS programmer using the same debug shift speed setting and steps. We are using a 1-1 wire harness to go from test points on the PCB to the Cyclone Max programmer. Any suggestions as to what we are doing wrong trying to use the Cyclone Max as a stand-alone programmer?

    Have you tried downloading the latest Cyclone Max software package? We have supported standalone programming for the SPC58NE84 for some time now. Here is the software link:
