How to unsecure a kinetis processor with UNITACMP ?

Staff: Juan S.

  • Hi,

I am using UNITACMP to create a custom FLASH programmer for a Kinetis processor.
I have 2 interfaces : Cyclone MAX and Multilink universal FX.
I currently use the USB one.
Everything works perfectly except when the processor FLASH has been erased and not reprogrammed with correct content.
When this happens target_reset() returns False.
In this state, my only solution is to use Kinetis Design Studio and execute a "Flash from file..." command. Then, KDS warns about the fact that the processor is in secure state. It asks if I want to unsecure it. I accept and the unsecure sequence is executed.

How can I unsecure the processor from my software using UNITACMP ?

Note : I've just received my UNITACMP software and Multilink universal FX interface. How can I register them for warranty and support ?

    Regards,
    Nicolas
