  • Recently I use a PE multilink, and it suddenly don't work, now the situation is :

    1. when I change another BDM ,the hardware work very well
    2. the Blue LED on the PE Mutilink is ON, and when I connect target the orange LED also ON.
3.My computer can find the device, and also I can update the device firmware.
4.when I use it enter debug Mode the fault information is as blow:

communications with the target failed !

The target MCU has no clock or wrong BDM clock speed is used or derivative is secured.

    5. I had changed the wire between the debug port and pe multilink

Can this BDM be fixed, How?

  • Greetings,

You can go to Support page -> support requests to request for an RMA. Then you can send your multilink to us for repair. Sounds like your multilink was damaged, since you indicate another multilink works just fine.

Were there any changes to your setup recently that could have caused your multilink to get damaged? new chip? new board?
