unable to program mc56f827xx series through Universal Multilink

  • Hi,
I am using Universal Multilink to program MC56F82733/43 and MC56F8006.I am able to program MC56F8006 IC with no problems,But when i try to program mc56f82733/43 through PROGDSC s/w i get the error "The target MCU is not responding. Please turn MCU power off (Under 0.1v), turn MCU power on, and then click OK. This will attemp to enter debug mode through a power on reset sequence".
I get blue light and yellow light glowing, but unable to program the target.

  • Greetings,

If you power off and on the chip when you get this warning, did you see anything different? Or do you return back to the connection manager?

Try lowering the debug shift frequency. Most likely the communication is too fast. DSC is known to be slower and you will need to drop the communication to some of the slower options.

  • Greetings,

    Any update on this?
