  • Hello!
I need to count cycles in my code to estimate calculation time of critical code of my program.
    I use CW10.6.4 + USB-ML-UNIVERSAL (!not FX!) for debug Kinetis KEA128 MCU.
    I refer to
and found "3.3 Enable Trace and Profile" on page 13. In my case this page not active and I cannot activate it. How to count cycles of my code?

  • Greetings,

The Multilink cannot use the "Enable Trace and Profile" option in Codewarrior. What you really need is the tracelink:

With this hardware, you will have the option to enable this checkbox and be able to see external trace. This will help you in counting cycles.

  • Greetings,

Any update on this? Do you have any other questions or concerns?
