Tracelink won't power up

  • I have been using the Tracelink for a project that I shelved a month ago and am just now getting back to it. I try to power it up using a 5V power supply but it won't power up. Can I please get some support for directions on removing the case and using a bench supply to check if there is any current draw?

  • Greetings,

5V is not enough. We recommend 6-9V center positive.

    • Thank you. I had only seen the 1.8V-5V on the label on the back. It is working as expected now.

  • Greetings,

Those voltages are the power that it can provide to the target device using the internal power relays. It is quite odd that we never specified what those numbers mean. Just randomly placed in the corner.

    Glad things are working again.
