  • Hi

For ml universal rev c(Blue colour) hardware why it is always have to do firmware update through update utility from pe micro for each change of processor kinetis to s08 and viceversa?
But Rev B hardware it happens automatically.
    Here it fails.
    Any solution?

  • Greetings,

The new multilinks have very different firmwares and only the latest software can recognize and update these firmwares. If you have the latest software from us, then you will not have to manually switch. We had to make a switch to include new features like encryption and better protocols.

Please go to Support Page -> Support ticket and let us know your order or invoice of your last software purchase. We can then let you know if you qualify for any software upgrade discounts.

Note, our upgrade policy is if within 1 year of purchase of the software then you get free upgrades. Within 2 years you get 50% discount. Even if you are outside of these discounts, I may be able to find some kind of discount if you wish to upgrade.

  • hi,

They are using codewarrior. so what we can do?

  • we are distributor for pe micro tools...this problem facing one of our client.

  • Greetings,

If the customer is using Codewarrior eclipse, then have them update to the latest version 10.6 update 4 (just released a few weeks ago). The latest version has the auto-firmware update for all revisions of the multilink.
