  • I try to censored 5604P using P&E USB Multilink and PROGPPNexus programmer for code warrior - version
    I have Flash memory boot (FAB pin is 0).
    Whit the algorithm Freescale_MPC5604P_1x32x4k_Shadow.PCP erase the shadow block and program PSW and censorship in order to have Private flash memory password and censored:
    203DD8 = ABBACAFECAFEABBA password
    203DE0 = 55AA55AA55A255A2
    I verify with an upload that the shadow block is correctly programmed before rest the chip.
    The device is cesored and the flash boot works well.
    If I try to access via P&E USB Multilink and uncensor with password it is not possible to contact the device.

  • Greetings,

    Your password fits the criteria, which is to not have all 00's or all FF's.

    The mistake you made is in the Censorship control at 203DE0. The first 32-bit values must match the bottom 32-bit values. In your case, 0x55AA55AA != 0x 55A255A2. Therefore the device will be completely censored and you will not be able to uncensor this device. You should contact Freescale and make sure to learn exactly what should be programmed. I am basing my answer off of internal-use documents so I cannot detail any more information to you.
