USB-ML-12E Rev.C repair help
. Apr 22, 2015 at 03:26 PM (15:26 hours)
Staff: Nick d.

  • Hello. I've got USB-ML-12E Rev.C programmer. Now it is not connecting to the devices. I'm check board and found U3 IC is broken. At the package C2682Z marks. But I can't find any information. It seems to be bidirectional level shifter (maybe). Can somebody helps me to identify IC or send device schematic?

  • Hi Shooman

This the part you're looking for.

The datasheets are on the Digikey site for it.

    • Thank you for your help. Its really that part.

      • Glad I could help!

  • Greetings,

If replacing the U3 does not fix the problem, you should try sending in your unit to us for repair if within the USA. If outside of the USA, it would be cheaper to purchase a new unit due to the shipping. For repairs you would have to pay shipping both ways.

    • I checked all signals and compared to working USB-ML-12E. I found faulty U3 only. I replaced U3 (thanks to Nick D)and now USB-ML-12E works again.
