using two FX on one PC simultaneously

  • How is it possible to use two FX on one PC for programming in parallel?
At the same time I would program two CF's.

  • Greetings,

There are no hardware limitations but what you will run into are software limitations. All of our software are single user single instance licenses. So the one software you have running cannot have another instance running on the same computer or any other computer. For the multilink FX, the best solution is to have two software licenses on two separate computers.

Another solution is to have cyclone max hardware and using the cyclone automated control package be used to control all of the cyclones to program their target boards simultaneously. But this would be quite the investment. (Note, you mentioned Coldfire. If you are programming CFV1, then get the cyclone pro. If you are programming CFV2/3/4, then the cyclone max):

Let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
