Single Stepping in Flash?

  • On the 68332 with ICD32 and Multilink, is it possible to single step in flash? I know that hardware breakpoints are not supported on that platform so I am wondering if the same limitation applies to single stepping in flash.

  • Hi ByteMaster,

Single-stepping in flash is allowed. ICD32Z has a special command called "GOTILROM" which attempts to emulate a hardware breakpoint by repeatedly single-stepping until the desired address is reached.

    Best regards,
