Qorivva debugging from vanilla eclipse

  • Dear Support Team,
as we want to homogenize our development environment (multiple MCUs from multible vendors) we are looking for a way to integrate MPC56xx debugging into Eclipse CDT rather than using CodeWarrior Studio (Eclipse). As CWS is itself Eclipse based and PE is available as debugger, is there a way to make vanilla Eclipse use the PE debugger?
Alternatively, a GDB server for Qorivva would help. I read somewhere that support might be coming soon. Any news on that?

  • Greetings,

There will be a GDB server eclipse plugin for Qorivva coming out this year. It is still in alpha. We still do not know when it will come out, or how much it will cost, or other limitations. It is still very early in development. I just know that it will support the MPC57xx chips for sure and it will not be difficult to add MPC56xx support as well.

Hopefully soon we will get more information on it.

  • Hi Takao,

    Is this plugin now available?

  • Greetings,

Yes, please check NXP's website for a product called S32 E200 IDE.
