  • Hello:
I have a DEMOJM board. I installed Codewarrior 10.0 (Eclipse) and PE_Embedded_Multilink_Toolkit. But Terminal Window Application does not work.
When I try open serial port USB COM it say "Failed to open. Plug DEMO board into PC via USB cable". But the board is connected correctly because I can run a program with codewarrior, and I can debug it.
If I open "Device manager" in control panel I cannot see a "USB COM" port. Should I install another driver?
I am working in Windows 7 64bits. Is this a problem?

    Thanks.

  • Hello I too am having the same problem
"Failed to Open. Plug DEMO board into PC via USB cable"
The port opened fine, before I loaded up the Codewarrior 10.1 beta, but I could not get the acceleration demo nor any of the others to work.
After installing Codewarrior the port now reponds that it can not open it.

  • Hello,

Could you please verify that the Windows Device Manager has two P&E interfaces listed in the "Jungo" category?

You may want to reinstall the latest P&E Drivers 10 as well:

  • If you want to create a virtual com port, download the demojm lab pdf file and the cmx stack from freescale web page. Run the cdc example project, it's easy, just follow the steps showed in pdf file. Good luck!
