Multilink Rev C stopped working completely
Bob N. Jul 1, 2015 at 12:55 AM (00:55 hours)
Staff: Johnny N.

  • My Multilink Rev C was working fine until a few hours ago, and now I can't even detect using the PE Micro firmware update utility (version 5.17).
I had upgraded the firmware earlier on today.

My Jungo USB Multilink 2.0 driver is 11.7.0.0 (Jan 21, 2015)
My WinDriver version is 11.7.9.0 (October 26, 2014)

    Someone please help!

  • Hi Bob,

Does the BLUE LED turn on?

In Windows Device Manager, are you seeing both Jungo->WinDriver and Jungo->USB Multilink? Make sure that both devices do not show a yellow exclamation mark.

Please close down any other programs (PROG, ICD, Codewarrior, etc) that could be talking to the Multilink at the same time.

  • Johnny,

Yes, the BLUE LED is on.

I am seeing both Jungo->WinDriver and Jungo->USB Multilink.
    Nether have an exclamation mark.

I have shutdown Kinetis Design Studio, but the problem still persists.

You are welcome to TeamViewer into my environment.

    • Bob,

The only explanation I can think of besides a hardware fault is that your Mulitlink Universal was updated with the wrong firmware meant for a different interface or its identifier was corrupted. The Firmware Updater utility filters out any devices it doesn't recognize. I will give you additional instructions on how you may be able to resolve this issue in your support ticket.

      Regards,
