  • Hi,

I am not able to use P&E USB multilink with codewarrior 3.1 for HC12. I have installed the USB service pack patch provided to me by freescale. After which the hardware is still not getting detected. I keep getting an error "Target not connected on COM1".

    Please advise.

  • Greetings,

Did you mean Codewarrior 5.1 for HCS12?

Our USB drivers have recently been updated so please try the latest:

Anothing thing to try is to patch up your Codewarrior to see if it will fix your problem:

  • Greetings,

    i have the same Problem. OS: WinXp SP3, IDE: Metrowerks 3.1 CW 5.6.1.1506 Hardware:USB MON08 Multilink REV.D

I can compile my programm but can not flash out of the IDE. I have to open P&E Flash Programmer to load the .abs to the ┬ÁC. The IDE does not recognize the Multilink on USB. I have Installed the drivers from 2015 but problem still exists.
Please can you give me any advice what to do to fix this issue?

    Regards,

    Sebastian

    • Greetings,

A better solution for you is to get our software called PROG08SZ, which is a free software that works on the MON08 devices:

This software will work with your hardware and will also work on any Windows operating system.

      • Hi, i'm already using PROG8SZ for flshing the Device, but what i want is using the Debugging Feature out of the IDE. Do you know what files are relevant for detecting the USBMON08 ? May be it is possible to change the files with ?

        Regards

        Sebastian

        • I did it! I had found an old service pack CD. It was very dusty but it fixed the USB detecting Problem!! Thank You !

          Regards Sebastian
