  • Hi, I'm using a cyclone max for standing alone programming. There are several images inside. Can I remove only a single image without removing all images?
    Thank you.

  • Greetings,

Unfortunately no. There was no file system implemented on the cyclone max to be able to handpick an image to be removed. You will have to remove all and reload all previous images. Same applies to the external compact flash card.

Our new generation cyclone universal and cyclone universal FX have a file system and will have the ability to delete images with ease. This also applies to external images onto the new SD card:

    • Hello,
I would reply to this answer.

I'm using a Cyclone universal FX and I'm not be able to delete only selected SAP image. I only found the way were I must delete all memory then reload new image. (Cyclone Universal Image Manager)

Could you explain how can we manage SAP image with ease?

  • Greetings,

In April when I posted about file system, I was misinformed and actually the file system has not been implemented yet.

Within the next 2 weeks, we will be adding the ability to remove individual images from the cyclone. I will post the new firmware and software onto this thread when that is ready.
