  • Can we program KE02z64 without erasing EEPROM with cyclone max.

  • After the FlexRam on the part is partitioned to be EEPROM, an erase is not necessary.

    • Thanx FlexRam.

My query is little bit different.

We program KE02 with one binary then do some calibration work. After this the offset values are stored in EEPROM and then the application binary is loaded in MCU which uses offsets from EEPROM stored previously.

During development we did all this using Multilink and Code-Warrior.

Now, in Production phase we are using cyclone MAX. With cyclone we burn calibration binary, then calibrate the board and then burn the application binary. But when we burn application binary it erases the EEPROM also and so we lost all the offset data.

Is there any way (option in image creation utility) through which we can program only Flash section without disturbing the EEPROM section.

  • Manjit,

Please see the following link for how to preserve ranges in your algorithm.
