OpenSDA for S32K144 v1,v2 2 EVM board renders board unusable

    I have both S32K144 EVB for v1 and v2 silicon.
    Having downloaded IAR EWARM v7.80.2 and v70.80.4 and S32DS v1.3 and beta s32K144 v2 support, I cannot flash the boards.
    Earlier I was able to do it with the v1 boards from both environments, but now the boards are not usable anymore.
    The red led next to the USB stays on, and the board will not enter boot loader mode when powered with reset button pressed.
    It will bring up the MSD with label EVB S32K144, but not with BOOTLOADER.
    The debugger cannot connect properly to the target, and then claims that the target is secure, offering to erase it.
    This subsequently does not work.
    In both boards the bootloader app version is 1.11 and the app is MSD-DEBUG-EVB-S32K144_Pemicro_v119.SDA, supporting both v1 and v2 silicon.
    Something is making my boards unusable, but I don't know how.
    Any thoughts?

    i have the EVB-S32k144 too, v1, and i currently have the same problem

    So if there is anyone who know how to resolve this, Please help US !

  • Hi,

    I have managed to bring the boards back to life with a J-Link probe and the magic sequence "Unlock Kinetis".
    After this I can flash and debug the boards with the J-Link probe, but not with the openSDA interface.
