Question
How do I migrate my existing source code to PKGCFZ_PRO or PKGPPCNEXUS?

Answer
In brief, to migrate your code to one of the PEmicro GNU packages:

1. Create a new C language project from a template in WinIDE. This will provide basic compiler configuration.

2. Use the WinIDE Build Dialog to replace the default source files with your own.

3. Specify your own linker script in WinIDE's Compiler Options (Paths) dialog. This dialog contains additional important settings. Examine all setting in this dialog.

4. In regards to compiler flags, use WinIDE's Compiler Options (General) dialog to set the compiler's verbose option. In the compiler output log, GCC will display the full set of compiler flags in use. To add your own compiler flags, use WinIDE's Additional Options Passed to GCC.

These packages include documentation that provides detail on the method of migrating your code to these packages. Keep in mind that if you are migrating from a compiler other than GCC, you may need to make source code changes to comply with GCC.
