Question
How do I use WinIDE with a third party compiler?

Answer
In WinIDE, select the Environment menu, Environment Settings dialog, Assembler/Compiler tab.  In the Type list box, select Other Assembler/Compiler.  Use the EXE Path edit box to specify the path to your compiler's executable file.  In the Options edit box, enter the command-line options for your compiler.  These options will be passed, unaltered, to the compiler's executable file.

You may be able to configure WinIDE to highlight your source code errors.  In WinIDE's Environment Settings dialog, Assembler/Compiler tab, select the WinIDE Error Options button.  If your compiler is included in the Error Format list box, select your compiler and check the option Recover Error from Compiler.  Specify your error log in the Error Filename text box.  You will need to configure your compiler to direct errors to this file.

Once you have configured WinIDE, hit F4 to compile.
