Question
How do I set the option register using AEVM11, within 64 cpu cycles of reset?

Answer
Q: How do I set the option register using AEVM11, within 64 cpu cycles?"

A: Write code at a valid ROM location to set the option register followed by a software interrupt (SWI). Then set the reset vector to the starting location of the code and press the user reset on the EVM11 board. As soon as you press the user reset, the program counter (PC) will load with the starting address of the code and run the code to set the option register within 64 cpu cycles.

For example:

Reset_Vector equ $FFFE
Org Reset_Vector
DW START

Org $valid_rom_address_location**
START: Your code to set the option register
.
.
SWI
End:
and then press the user reset on the EVM11 board.

Please check the memory map for the proper reset vector location.

**Replace "valid_rom_address_location" with a hex value.
