Question
How do I resolve a programming error under Codewarrior 6.3 when a selected trim frequency yields a trim value of 0x80 0x00 or 0x7F 0x01?

Answer
Attached patch resolves this corner case programming issue. Please unzip the contents of .zip archive into {Codewarrior 6.3 Installation Directory}/prog/P&E folder on your PC. The next time the Codewarrior 6.3 hiwave debugger runs, a set of run control and FLASH programming .dlls will automatically be updated, thus resolving this issue.
